The Newport City Originals series is an on-going collection of photographs showcasing the City of Newport in Gwent, South Wales, and its surrounding areas.
From the tranquil coastline of the West Usk Lighthouse, with the Newport Wetlands Reserve & Uskmouth Power Station nearby, we follow the extremely tidal River Usk, passing over the many bridges that span it, including the internationally-recognised Transporter Bridge.
The Welsh countryside features heavily, from the Fourteen Locks at High Cross, Rogerstone, via Twm Barlwm Mountain, which serves as an impressive backdrop, you are invited to take in the natural beauty of the historic Tredegar House and grounds - a Photographer's dream!
These photographs of Newport, Gwent are never limited by either time or the seasons: discover a snow-bound St Woolos Cathedral, or take a midnight jaunt across the Newport City Footbridge.
Whatever you are looking for, this range of Newport City pictures can provide you with an attractive visual display to compliment your home or place of work. The choices of frames or canvas wraps are designed to enhance your decor!
